Michael Craghead

Michael Craghead started his career in aerospace in 1977 managing a metrology lab for a company that did Department of Defense work. He received his second degree in 1980 in Electronics and moved in to design of medical, cancer and military research equipment. He has created and managed quality control departments, a reliability departments, managed ISO certifications, and managed various departments. He earned is third degree in 1990 in Manufacturing Management. He was responsible for reducing assembly errors, improving manufacturing process time, improving costs, and improved time to customer sales. He has trained employees on continuous improvement, project management, lean manufacturing, and various quality control techniques like SPC, root cause analysis, and problem solving. Since 1976, Mike has worked in manufacturing, quality, customer service, engineering, business and management levels to help several companies improve products, reduce errors, improve customer service, enrich employees and help improve profit margins. In his free time Mike enjoys being with his family, friends, and for 16 years has been actively involved with two swim teams as a volunteer coach for young kids in competitive swimming.
